Seperate Browser Window

just wanted to though out the idea of a allowing one
to open a dedicated browser window.

There have been a few requests for a larger disk op view with more features, but I think most want it to be integrated with everything else, and not have it as a seperate window.

i actually like this idea.

while we’re revamping the browser can we enable browsing instruments and samples from other files?

ugh. One of the things I love about renoise is its one-window interface.

Changing this would be super aggrivating.

I like how fruityloops has incorporated the browser idea.

everything would be much more accesible through a similar screen in Renoise

(maybe also include some extra right mouseclicking filebrowsing ability, in the sampleeditor view, which would pop up a browsing window…or right clicking in the instrument slots… though this is less important then a good browsing system)

More fileformats? Getting instruments within mods?

And pro_xy, YES I agree. Big time! Keyboard shortcuts is sooo lovely for a good workflow!!

Samples and instruments within .rns/.xrns probably. Why not be able to get VSTi and VST instances, aswell as DSP chains from other rns/xrns files, via a new browser.
