was tracking for a few hours, saved the song to find out it was over a 100 mb. From the samples I’ve used, I knew it shouldn’t be that big already (I’m using the .flac setting). Backtracking the samples, I found out many were converted to 32 bit, while originally being 16 bit samples. This because I rendered in some dsp’s/vsts using the fx button in the sample editor.
I understand the use of converting to 32 bit and thats fine in some instances. But now I ended up manually adjusting everything back to 16 bit, shrinking the .xrns back to around 32 mb.
I think it would be good to be able to set a preferred bitrate for the fx button in the sample editor.

changing volume (<- not maximizing), mixpaste + the smooth button next to the fx button also automatically changes the sample bitrate to 32. If you don’t pay attention to these things you can easily bloat tracks with excessive ‘unnecessary’ data.
