Show Me Your Home Studios

Wow, Denim it even has a nice little sofa to take a break. I dig…

this is where I’ve been working and nerding for the last 4 years. next upgrade is a around the corner, with some bigger secondary monitors, a sub and a monitor controller. And then I guess I have to rearrange it all to make room for some inevitable acoustic treatment… bah, it never ends, does it!
… but good fun

(Mr. Cheese)

EDIT: enourmous pic, my apologies.

is that for inspiration whats under the table? : D

Yeah well I already had that inspiration. It was actually a footrest for some time until I fixed my desk to a better height.

I just got my analog swag last week!
The analogRYTM and the analogFOUR from Elektron.
Rad machines!

RYTM is really cool, nice looking studio. Too bad no music stores around here have expensive stuff like that on demo :stuck_out_tongue:

Current setup in my livingroom - the EVEs are amazing, highly recommended.

@xerxes I might have an awkward boner from looking at your studio, it’s so unique yet simplistic.

Hahaha!! Thanks  I mostly work ITB - only good hardware I needed was a soundcard with good A/D converters for recording vocals, guitars and any other kind of sound I can record. The UAD Apollo Twin Duo does the job in that regard.

Cheers!

Nice to know that you’re working with Renoise. I found your bandcamp some time ago and I really like your music a lot. No wonder beautiful tunes come out when you have a studio environment like this

I know I’ve posted a few unlikely images of my studio here…but I thought I’d finally post what it actually looks like

@midi error: As Mr Bach once said: “Above all I must know whether the organ has good lungs.” Bach then proceeded to pull out every speaking stop and play as full voiced as possible. At this point the organ builders would often become pale with fright

I’ll bet the little fugue in g minor (from the master of counterpoint) would sound good in your studio

[Edit: See http://forum.renoise.com/index.php/topic/45519-songs-little-fugue-in-g-minor-bwv-578/#entry335999 Simply genius. Thank you Mr Bach :walkman: ]

moved to new place, so new seed had be planted… in future will upgrade clear walls

I cut two pieces of wood, sanded them down, spray painted them red and tied them to my chair to make a McGyver keyboard rack for my Oxygen49, so I can sit comfortably while I’m making crappy tunes.

The small things in front of it are an Akai LPK25 and an LPD8.

The mug contains tea. Earl Grey. Hot.

They’re a bit pricey, but they’re the best ones you’ll ever have. The underside is non slip rubber and the top surface is soft, like hard felt. Texture feels great, comfortable, works great too. I use it for gaming also. It’s washable, so if it gets dirty over time you just pop it in the dishwasher or wash it in the sink. And they don’t really wear out either. Mine have stayed the same for years now. I’ve got several of them and I absolutely love them. Highly recommended!

MouseRug. Intruiging.

Nice one on the keyboard rack too Autoaim.cfg

I like the “McGyver” approach, as opposed to blowing lots of money on something store bought.

Am in the process of problem solving placement of equipment and will most likely make something to suit my table.

Have come across tables that would work quite well, however, the price is quite off putting.

Money I would rather spend on more audio toys. Can never seem to have enough.

Am in the process of setting up my studio still, will post pics when done.

Gear porn overload. Just eyegasmed.

Please adopt me!! That is one heck of a sweet studio! Good job!!

I’ll put up a pic of my current “new” studio. It’ll beat all ya’ll studios… fo’ sho’!

@xerxes: Those monitors look like they stare at you constantly. Scary!

nice!!

but what’s with all the 6 MC-202’s?

^^ Nice gear heavy studio. Multiple eyegasms. I’d never want to leave that room.

I would also want to employ Cerebus to guard it too.

but what’s with all the 6 MC-202’s?

My thoughts exactly…just multi track it you big showoff. It has lfo delay which the SH101 doesnt have

However my mate Jason (who created the Arpie / Le Strum) is designing something that would turn all 6 into one polyphonic synth!
