Just a quick message (bit off topic, so I’m posting it in here) that we have started a new netlabel called Silence Is Not Empty. Well, we actually ressurected it…
Silence Is Not Empty records was formed in early 2003 as a 3" cd-r label releasing titles in limited editions of 100 copies only with handmade covers. Caused by more or less personal problems the label was discontinued in late 2004.
Now a year later we are strong again to emerge from the emptiness. Slightly changed and modified though. No longer the label will be releasing cd-r’s, we decided to give mp3’s a chance (well, yes, we bought ourselves iPods and fell in love with them instantly).
We do not plan to re-release the labels titles so far, but start fresh with new materials.
The first release is finally out, it is a wonderful 3 songs “Old Boat House” E.P. by a good friend of ours Roy-Arne Knutsen bringing us a good portion of cold, atmospheric dark ambient.
