Renoise 2.8.0 crashes when an mp3 sample finishes previewing from the disk browser. I am running windows 7 sp1 with an updated quicktime. If there are any logs I can paste to help solve this error please let me know. Thanks.

Could you also let us know if this happens with any MP3 file or only specific ones? Are you using the 32 or 64bit version of Renoise?
Exception: QuickTime 7 or higher must be installed to load this kind of audio file.

I checked my quicktime version, and it was definitely version 7 (Not sure what specific version it was though). I upgraded to the latest version of quicktime (7.7.2) and the problem seems to be gone.
The problem usually occurred on full songs or long samples, either because of the length, or a different compression or bitrate or something.
I think with the latest Renoise version, quicktime even isn’t necessary anymore to play .mp3’s.
