Basically i have like 4 folders with something close to 400 rnses right now, most of which are sketches with strange names 
What i’d like to see, basically is that the playback length of the song is saved into the xrns, so you can sort rnses by song length. Would make it a hell of a lot easier finding sketches that were going someplace amid all the 2-pattern tossup ones.
Am i crazy?
interesting idea… It make me think that some other properties could be added into the XRNS file (the length is currently not in), but don’t ask me which ones on saturday morning
The length can be calculated…
The amount of patterns, the pattern size of each pattern and then the bpm/speed combination.
With all of these options you could calculate the song length pretty fast.
But i don’t know the algorithm for that from the back of my head, i would need to either reinvent the wheel or Taktik could be so kind to shed a light on the formula. But it is not really something that is really hard to figure out yourself.
You ppl are full of great ideas. 
That would be nice, to sort the songs based on their length. As the routine for calculating the songlength is already in there, it should be very easy to add it in the file as well.
