melodies and song progression is good, but i would personally beef up the drums, give them more focus in the mix. Keep doing your thing!

Yeah, mixing and mastering is something i really need to get practice on. Especially because its super important to making a song sound good.

creative mixing and/or thinking ahead while you are expressing ideas/arrangement could contribute a lot and spare you ‘fix-in-the-mix’ trouble.
