How would it be possible for someone the create a protocol, ( working between DAWs ) that’s even better than rewire ?
I see rewire, is basically built around MIDI Time Code / MIDI Sync
…so technically, all that is required, kind of already is there…

Sorry, but your wording is unclear: what is wrong with ReWire, virtual MIDI, physical MIDI, or Ableton Link?
Is that an area that cannot be covered by such a project for example?
Depending on the OS, there should be many others that are similar.
ReWire is not supported and cannot be used on my Arch Linux, but I can use JACK and Ableton Link, which I am generally happy with.
Hi, yeah… what i mean is Any way of syncing Renoise to any DAW in Windows ( is okay with me ) with Start/Stop & Song Position

Synchronization of song positions? If so, would you not allow Loop on Renoise?
What is it that you want to do?
Have you done a search against the Renoise forum, that DAW’s forum, or Google,etc?
