I agree with dufey, I can’t count the times I heard “hey, sounds good for a tracker song”… There is a common perception of trackers being “those geeky programs used to make videogame music 20 years ago, when a PC was a little bit more than an enhanced typewritter”.
It’s like people don’t know about the evolution of tracker based music and musicians. They just know about chiptunes and that Axel F Amiga Mod.
