Sort Pattern Button

Is there any possibilty to undo the sort Pattern-Function? I have accidently pushed that button and my work on the current song was lost, because my song-structure is not straight forward but looking very chaotic. The “undo” function did not work.
Maybe its an idea to implement an “Are you sure? Y/N”-interaction on buttons that reorganize the whole song completly.

My structure is like this:

In my experience the sort pattern button doesn’t actually sort…it just renames the patterns so the numbers are in order.

or am I mistaken?

Work is only lost when you choose for the “sort and delete unused patterns” option.

In any other case you just have to figure out what number they got by listening to the patterns that you do not have visible in your pattern-sequencer.
