Soundcloud monetization

Hi there
Have any of you completed to make monetization on Soundcloud?
I have now upgraded to ‘artist’ level and try to monetize a track.
(I dont have many plays, but have to start somewhere…)
But I get rejected all the time when trying to moneytize (cant spell that word..)
Have you any experieces there, and which pitfalls?
It is 100% my own songs. No remix, no covers.
Does it need ISCR number? Or is it that I use my nickname as artist name?
I use my civil name as composer and producer.

Hi JVS, I had similar issues and in most cases it was the artwork and not the music which caused the Rejection. They normally write you a message like “Please only submit artwork that you control the rights to (e.g. heavily editing copyrighted images does not grant you the permission to use). If you have rights to use a copyrighted image in your release, please include license documentation when you resubmit your release for review”

So maybe you want to try to exchange the Artwork/Image of your Song ? Even if you are the owner of the Image I think they are using some Software/AI Tool which is not working properly. You also want to try with simple letter stating that you are the owner of the Artwork and the Music. After several rounds most of my songs got approved, only when really used samples owned by 3rd party I got rejected. By the way, so far I have earned 0,30 US$, so it is really tough to earn but I do it just for fun, when I reach 1 US$ I will try the payout via Paypal

Thanks Oleg for your fast answer
There was not mentioned anything about artwork in the answer i got from SC. I haven’t the reject-emails anymore, so I cant remember exact reason. It was not even very specific reason.. but I guess it could be the difference of nickname and real name.
If i get another reject (i expect it  ), I can show you the text and mabye see what it could be.

Did you use ISCR number?

The ISRC Number they will provide to you once approved, so nothing to enter from your side. For Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube you need to register there first as an Artist but guess this is not the issue. Have also Nickname and real Name entered when I applied, so this shouldn´t be an issue either. Maybe you can post their text if they reject again and I can check if got the same message and what I did afterwards. Good luck, just keep trying
