I wrote this last weekend and wanted to hear any opinions. Normally I work on and off on a track over the course of a month or so, but this is one of the first tracks where I maintained this quick momentum.

There isn’t very much variation, I’ve been thinking about adding a third part in the middle to break away from the constant rhythm. Any thoughts?

Like it from the break at 1:33, sounds good, not to keen on it before. I like the originality in it with the melodic synths/sub, for me kind of spoils it to add a sampled break in there, would like to hear this tune from 133 with some originally made drums, no samples.

What you using for the nice belly synth sound and sub base?

Thanks for the response.

For the bell-like synth, I used a rendered U-No-60 sample that I made for an earlier song, and I just used the dnb bass instrument that came with renoise and ran through the lofimat.

So for the drums, you think real drums would work better? I’m not a drummer, and I don’t know any really good drum VSTs. Should it still maintain that sort of break feel, or should the drums be more synthetic?
