Hi, i was curious how much effort would require to have spectral editing of samples?
Thanks

As a VST developer i can asure you this is one of the hardest things for a coder .

i was interested in implementing already available solutions (if any?). Not re-inventing the wheel

In theory, spectral resampling is the process of dividing a signal into small spectral segments and recording the peak values of each over a unit of time. Renoise already has built-in spectral synthesizers that could potentially be used in this format. If the ability to analyze the signal and subsequently record the reproduced peak values is added, it would allow for more precise sound control.

As a result, the instrument would have a defined number of harmonics and a playback scenario for each peak. This would simplify editing, making it easy to disable individual harmonics or adjust their amplitude. Additionally, this approach would ensure better sound quality when transposed.
