What about this one? Ever suggested before? Or is this already possible and i never knew about it. 
I’d like to be able to stop and hold the spectrum meter of a given sample at peak volume. To be able to analyze the spectrum in detail.
Autopause on peak would be great too.

yeah the current spectrum is pretty useless without the ability to freeze.
Spectrum needs some work in general, FFT chunk size and Fall time being the most obvious. Peak Hold would be an option of Fall time.
