Speed to lines per beat

Just a quick question,in the old speed system, what are the equivalents in lpb,for example speed 3 to lpb. Or is that a nonsense question?Speed 3 was 3 ticks per line i think? But im just wandering how it translates to lpb.

You mean this speed value, right?

Not sure, if speed also have changed the playback speed in protracker.
In Renoise, its different. Changing ticks (speed) doesn’t change the song playback speed, but LPB does.

Sort of,older versions of Renoise that i used had no lpb, just speed and bpm. Thats changed since 2.0 i think when LPB was introduced.Im wondering how the old speed translates to LPB. For example what is lpb 8 in speed and so on?I think im not getting something.

I’ve never used Renoise 1, but if the SPD value is the same like the F commands respectively F values in ProTracker, and that’s what I assume, then SPD 6 is LBP 4, SPD 3 is LPB 8, SPD 2 is LBP 16, SPD 1 is LPB 32 and if there’s also SPD 0 it’s LPB 64. What’s the fastest SPD value? 0? 1?
