Can someone tell me what was the most recent version of renoise that still had the speed settings instead of lpb?it would be much appreciated.
There’s a change log of all the major new features/updates/etc in the Readme.txt that’s located your Renoise program folder.
The Lines Per Beat concept was introduced in Renoise 2.0, so Renoise 1.9 would be the latest version that still defaulted to Speed instead of LPB.
If you want to use Speed in newer versions of Renoise, you can create an empty/template song in 1.9 or earlier, then load it into a newer version and simply avoid using the song format upgrade function.
