“Split stereo tracks” is a function I use a lot in Audacity but I can’t find it’s equivalent in Renoise.
In the sample editor I’d like to be able to automatically split a stereo sample into 2 new mono samples or (even better) select a portion of the sample from only the left or right channel and copy that to a new slot.
Any help?
What you expect to be done in sample editor is currently impossible in renoise.
But for tracks, it is easy to split them into their right / left channels using gainer and send tracks.
Ah well, no biggie.
I would like to make a suggestion for independant Left channel/Right channel selection tool in the sample editor. I guess I’ll go do that…
