You have tools installed? Have you tried to remove them? This way you could possibly find the culprit.

Strange. I don’t know what additional information you should provide to help clear up what is happening here. Maybe one of the devs could do that.
i think im going to switch my computer out for a mac mini m4. i dont know whats happening either but im tired of it and im thinking that move will alleviate my issues. (although ive never experienced problems like this before to be honest)
What version of Renoise ? Try installing an older build.Maybe give Linux a try before spending money on a mac that you cant upgrade.
Have you checked if this folder still exists after uninstalling Renoise?
C:\Users\[YourUsernameHere]\AppData\Roaming\Renoise\V3.5.4
(copy and paste this to you explorer address bar: %appdata%/Renoise/V3.5.4)
If not, delete it completely and do a fresh install.
