Stems output would be awesome
Stems (native-instruments.com)

Can’t you do this already with the “save each track as a separate file” toggle?

You’d manually have to make groups for your instruments, e.g bass, drums, etc, ect. But that would do the trick, I think? But maybe Stems is a new format/container? In which case that might not do the trick.

You can do this and then feed them all into Stem Creator.

Stems is a common term in audio production.

What would be slick is a tool to go through each group in a song and export them (e.g. solo just that group and render either to disk or as a sample).

New Tool (3.2): The Deliverer

this tool is pretty good, although I would prefer if it had a system that could allow you to check/uncheck which tracks/groups it exports. as it stands, it does them all, which ends up duplicating a lot of long files

Of course I’m familiar with the term stems.

Though in this case it does appear to be a new file format / container:

WHAT IS STEMS?

A Stem file is an open, multi-channel audio file that contains a track split into four musical elements – [bass, drums, vocals, and melody for example. With each element available independently, you can mix in ways that just weren’t possible until now.

That’s some marketing talk right there.

Anyway, The Deliverer looks like a potentially useful tool.
