how to stop pattern scrolling around when moving the cursor?
This behaviour is annoying, because I lose track where I am in the pattern.
Any ideas?

but no, it’s not about F13. It is when you move the cursor with arrow keys. The cursor stays fixed on the screen and the entire background is moving.
Instead, I’d like to fix the screen and make the cursor moving relative to window edges, as you do in e.g. text documents.
