I just wanted to see which operating systems VLC supports, when I saw this among the list:


(I dont think there are apps for it though… but hey, it runs VLC, that’s enough for the living room haha)

yeah I have been watching the development of syllable… I installed it on a older pIII comp and it ran beautiful. Too bad there is still a long way to go. Was thinking before about how sweet it would be to pioneer some audio work though the system. Don’t think there would be any RT kernel issues like in Linux.

What about freeBSD? it has a compatibility layer for Linux. Anyone ever attempt a BSD beat machine?
