Sync Signal On More Than One Output...

I would like to be able to put a midi sync signal on more than one midi output at a time.

I have every hardware instrument on the same midi out, coz I cannot sync on more than one midi output.

It would allso be great to be able to choose which instrument listens to which midi input, so I can switch between a masterkeyboard and a external sequencer for instance…

thanks anyway.

Are you on windows? Then some third party apps might help you with that, that are “virtual midi-cables” which allow you to patch anything with anything, so you could send the sync to one virtual channel and then just duplicate this signal to several hardware-midi-outs. I am sure this is possible with MacOSX or Linux too, but I could only help you with windows.

I tried that before, but it got too compicated for me, I just wanna make music not be a route specialist.

Many thanks for your reply…

Don’t we all… But seriously, sometimes you need to think around the corner and dive into stuff like this to be able to get what you want. Maybe you can also take another approach and just spend some money on a hardware-midi-patchbay. Seems f.e. the Kawai MAV-8 is a good one which you may be able to pick up cheap (~40 €) from ebay.
