Takao - Valencia to Venus (Free EP)

Really happy to release this EP! Atmospheric blend between hip hop and house but still got some of that funkiness to it.

Abulia - A trip hoppy track, think Bonobo. Really liking this tempo so gonna make more of it now i think!

Cosmopolitan - Kind of that french house sound, some nice vocal chops into a colourful arp filled climax at the end

Ravioli - Most upbeat tune of the EP. Some jazzy soul strings that have been chopped and some funky bass stabs.

Valencia to Venus - A deep disco voyage from the beaches of Spain far into outer space

Great work with high quality. The first track creates light relaxed atmosphere: sea noise, sea-gull cries really lifts you up. Cosmopolitan further develops the first track’s theme by relazing the listeners with its vibrations. Very light and warm sunlight waves fill the space. Ravioli sounds like a summer night city. Great work with samples in this track, everything’s on the right place. Nothing you do not need, just the motion. Valencia to Venus sounds mysteriously, as if it knows some secret which should not be told to anyone, because it’s really impossible to transmit it with the words but only with the vibes. The work is as great as always. It’s filled with sun, warmth, motion, and love!

What sounds / VSTs are you using? I like them!

In Cosmopolitan I loved the percussions and bass melody;
In Ravioli I admired the great symbiosis between the sounds. The melody was really great!
In Valencia To Venus I was digging the lead :slight_smile:

All the tracks are very well mixed and use variety of sounds. You have done a very good job! :slight_smile:

Thanks man! Quite often the TAL line of synths, really like their Juno and SH101 emulations. Otherwise use DIVA from time to time but its very CPU heavy socan be a bit of a pain in the ass. And then a lot of samples from old vinyl records too.

All the tracks are very well mixed and use variety of sounds. You have done a very good job! :slight_smile:

Thanks mate!
