I am working on a exporter (for Windows) which is able to convert K.O.II projects to Renoise songs.
Getting the features and value convertions right will take a while, since it requires some reverse engineering. But it´s already usable.
K.O.II effects (filters, delay, reverb, chorus..) are emulated with Renoise´s native DSPs.
There are still pattern related things to sort out, like how to construct the Renoise pattern when we have groups with different pattern lengths on the KO.II e.g..
DONE :
- CLI version (‘KOII2Renoise.exe --usb --project [1..9]’)
exports a project directly as xrns. - project, song structure, note volume, note delay, note length (note on, note off)
- sound settings (amplitute, pan, pitch, trim, envelope.attack & release)
- group fx + automation (level, pan, hpf, lpf)
- group send fx + automation (rvb, delay)
TODO :
- GUI version (maybe)
- automation for the remaining group fx / send fx
- fix pattern length related issues
- fix chord notes related issues
