That eureka moment

…WHEN YOU REALIZE… that Renoise is not just the tracker / sampler / “DAW” / etc that you fell in love with…But she is also more like an instrument with her own voice. For years i ran VSTs inside of Renoise as well as made instruments inside of Renoise but lately i have realized that she can almost be like a modular synth in her/or his/ it’s…own right. Of course i have in the past made drums just with the built in waveforms and even bass sounds from time to time, but have after years of learning the ins and outs of synthesis it has blown me away what you can do as far as synthesis alone right inside of Renoise. OK it takes a lot more effort than firing up your favorite VST (AKA incoming MINDFUCK), but WOWZERS!!! I always admired guys that only used Renoise for nearly every sound…I GET IT NOW! Flipping beats and samples is all so much fun, but I encourage all to explore synthesis in Renoise. OK i shut it now…hehe Fecking Renoise fanboys …honestly.

Welcome to the good life😊

Up to 12 oscillators mono and the instrument fx section is POWERFUL

Throw in phrases and you can do so much

You knowzit! Maybe preaching to the choir here, hehe. But just when one thinks he has Renoise sorted out, it throws a curveball of possibilities. Been using it for 8 or so years now moving from more traditional DAWS. OK i might do my final mix and mastering in Reaper, but all the creative process is done inside Renoise . For electronic music that is. Which is primarily what I do these days. Silly little tune I dood recently…Bass, percussion, sample manipulation and arrangement done inside Renoise of course. VSTs Largo and Tone2 Electra only. Bebop A Leeloo | Papa Düm Tek
