Compulsory Sample: No. Additional Rules: You may use Renoise’s Line-In/Recording facilities to record your own vocals and any other instruments to help make up your song. Extra samples have been provided in a separate pack to try and increase tools available to those without instruments, microphones and the talent. Renoise only. All features, functions, DSPs etc of Renoise allowed. Samples provided only, except your own vocal recording.
Submissions: Please submit links for download to me via PM so we can keep voting closed. Audio file accepted, preferably mp3 at 320kbs; other encodings and rates will be accepted. .XRNS submissions also accepted, preferably alongside a audio file but in isolation only (allowing Demo users to join in.) Would be extra nice if people can provide both.
Now let’s see if i can dig up my DI-amp somewhere…
Ok…havnt played some years(yeah i know lame exuse … ) so my playing sound really…shitty Cutting in a recording for like a half hour just to make it in time with the track…and now its sounds even worse
Sorry I fell asleep early last night but tracking is over, a few entries have been received and I will get them uploaded shortly (after shower and breakfast etc.)
I admit I didn’t double check Soundcloud but just tried No.3 now and it plays fine here. Had that problem when listening to something the other day, although it was 7 minutes long it claimed to have played through after less than ten seconds. A fresh of the page cured it…
BTW when i listened the tracks again, have to change my vote now(4 is already winning so now its ok i guess…) track 3 really the most punk and its too funny specially the line, vampire vampire i hate you made me laugh for some reason
Soundcloud was being really strange when I uploaded this and kept on adding spaces when I was trying to put the tags so it took me loads of attempts and seems I still didn’t get it quite right.
Will do when I next have some time to do some maintenance to the Soundcloud and site (although poor ftp performance has often been putting me off updating the site it is usually good enough for the small, php file it’s just the actual media that doesn’t want to upload so I should do the pages at least…)
yeah, i noticed that on Soundcloud too when uploading my own songs there. sometimes tag-behaviour was weird and took some time. figured this was your problem too, but thought i’d inform you anyway so you could maybe give it another try… or not
