Good luck all! I think this might be a hard one but interested to hear the results.

I’m already turning my amp to 11!

Now let’s see if i can dig up my DI-amp somewhere… :guitar:
Ok…havnt played some years(yeah i know lame exuse … :P) so my playing sound really…shitty  Cutting in a recording for like a half hour just to make it in time with the track…and now its sounds even worse :P

12 hours to go people! Get your tracks in. I know this round is a huge challenge but really looking forwards to what people manage.

Sorry I fell asleep early last night but tracking is over, a few entries have been received and I will get them uploaded shortly (after shower and breakfast etc.)

Vote pack and poll added to first post.

And here again:

Plus Soundcloud set:

Nice tracks people :walkman:

Can’t listen to the third track on soundcloud for some reason, will try again tonight and vote :)

edit:or i just download the zip :P

I admit I didn’t double check Soundcloud but just tried No.3 now and it plays fine here. Had that problem when listening to something the other day, although it was 7 minutes long it claimed to have played through after less than ten seconds. A fresh of the page cured it…

Yes works fine now.

I thought the Hip Hop themed round was the one before this one.

BTW when i listened the tracks again, have to change my vote now(4 is already winning so now its ok i guess…) track 3 really the most punk and its too funny :D specially the line, vampire vampire i hate you made me laugh for some reason

voted. by the way, one of the soundcloud-tags went wrong. right now this is tagged ‘R’ and ‘Enoise’. you can probably guess were that went wrong.

i would also suggest, for the sake of completeness, to take the deaddog-logo from the site, square it up and set it as the soundcloud avatar.

Soundcloud was being really strange when I uploaded this and kept on adding spaces when I was trying to put the tags so it took me loads of attempts and seems I still didn’t get it quite right.

Will do when I next have some time to do some maintenance to the Soundcloud and site (although poor ftp performance has often been putting me off updating the site it is usually good enough for the small, php file it’s just the actual media that doesn’t want to upload so I should do the pages at least…)

yeah, i noticed that on Soundcloud too when uploading my own songs there. sometimes tag-behaviour was weird and took some time. figured this was your problem too, but thought i’d inform you anyway so you could maybe give it another try… or not :)

Sorry delay, been really ill in bed last couple of days.

Winner of this round is Mammoth. Congratulations! If you could get any rules you want for the next round PMed to me asap it would be appreciated.

Will get a list of each entry up shortly.

Didn’t thought i would win, made that track in like 1h or so :P, anyway, great tracks everyone, voted for the first one as i liked very much the groovy feeling. :)
