The Ease Of The Tracking>>>

2 Days ago early on made some loops in VirSyn so wanted to see if I could bring into old Fruity 2.7… Well sure beat sliced taking up a mile of channelbox good luck navigating that turning off/on note ticks as per pattern…

So tried Massiva 1.21 but difficulty with stability importing the loops as ‘ZEX’ files… Instability is the worst fault of all…

So remembered the ‘auto-synchro’ loop function of current Protrekkr (was in old NoiseTrekker as well, Thanks ARGURU!!) So easy as pie… Also much easier was using tracker spreadsheet compared to piano roll bungling & ‘singularity’… With spreadsheet one can align & quickly modify not only notes but events… I could go on…

Trying to get non-trackers interested in actual trackers is like monster truck pull against mt Everest but honestly I think many are too lazy to even learn their highly touted piano roll DAWs beyond the basics… I have had some say of trackers “That Matrix Code Shit Flying By Freaks Me Out Man!”…

Anyways after abandoning both Fruity & Massiva I made some headway in Protrekkr within just some hours a WIP and not ‘tracker music’ that the piano rollers like to call anything made in a tracker…

There’s no drums or perc in it yet as I always do drums last & much to go also seems the render is saturated a bit my old ears turning bad… BUTT! I never get this far in just hours in a piano roller for some reason… I also realize the stability of Protrekkr being a closed-in tracker with internal FX & all…

Welcome back into the tracker
Thanks for sharing your story, glad to hear about it; Happy Tracking!

Been sick as a dog… uploaded a new version of the WIP… I think better grasp of the volumes, don’t really know as dealing with tinnitus/partial hearing gone in ears…

Be sure you never age>>>

WIP no longer up as tune is basically done…

This is precisely what drew me to trackers. The instant I saw it I thought “whatever this is and however it works, I want to try it.” Didn’t end up clicking for me until some years later, but it’s still my favorite way to make music.

Funny thing happened last night, I was blowing my nose & my left ear ‘zipped’ then opened up aways so I figured I’d see what was the volume complaint on my tune…WOW! I can’t believe how loud it was… So I have uploaded a new render in it’s place, might still be a bit loud, right ear still sucks…
