here’s the weird song I said I’d make. It’s weird allright. I kept with 4/4 timing to keep some coherency. Right now it has no real intro and it has no ending–it’s a loop for now, and there’s obviously no vocals on it right now… This is definately not meant as pop, it’s meant as, weird.
It’s not, like, a very good song or anything, but it’s meant to be for the fun of it anyway.

I hear this working really well on top of some fast clicky drill’n’bass in my head

Do you write chords or melody first?
Usually I make the bassline first, then the chords, then the melody. In some rare instances I come up with the melody first.

EDIT: All the vst instruments used are freeware, but I don’t know what the type of software the sampletank2free is considered to be–freeware or what, but basically all the vst’s I use in this are free.
I like the track, sounds like some experimental stuff on a breakbeat cd i own.
