when you use delay on a track and have the same delay-time for both left and right channel, try to put it a few ms off… like -5ms on left and +5ms on the right. gives a somewhat fuller sound. (but beware of flanging artefacts)
also, try to use a plugin that allows you to limit the stereo-separation.
especially when you have very different times for both channels.
i don’t know what plug does this, i made one with synthedit, it’s pretty easy to do.
gives me individual panning for both left and right channel, very handy.
