Tips For Syncing A Newly Recorded (Long) Sample/Track

Hi

I would like some tips if you have any for syncing samples or recorded tracks for example a guitar track with the song. As far as I know renoise is not capable of time stamping the recordings. I have been trimming the recordings and adjusting the trigger time gradually to sync it. This is slow and cant be the best accuracy. Any other bright ideas?

Rewire Reaper to Renoise.
If you work with the demo version, you could also try ReaRoute it and slave Reaper using MidiYoke.
You do have to rightclick on the “transport” bar in Reaper in order to set MIDI slave properties (that is quite a hidden option if you don’t know this at forehand)
