Tips on Sampling vst

im asking here complete beginner
like after ive sampled a vst or sound
can i add pitch bend ( whats a good value )
and what are some good settings for sampling pads or bass or leads cheers people !!

also for sampling stuff with velocity layers like a piano any tips ?
of course this is just for my own use to save cpu cheers

What you can do is do a range of velocities of notes, chop them up, then add the samples via the key note editor in the ranges you want, and they will pitch bend if you select Key -> Pitch.

If you want to automate pitch, go to the Modulations tab,

Use the Macro tab at the top (Rename your macro, it’ll be nameless though, until you assign it to something)

Press the Pitch button, then the Input Vertical Slider.

You can choose the range of pitch up top.

Once you set it all up go back to your tracks, choose this Macro FX

Then you can move it around to the pitch you assigned it to!

You can even automate it! YAYYYY.
