to see the difference between two patterns
I know there’s a topic about this already somewhere, just can’t figure out the title…
I don’t know about a tool, but you could copy paste the pattern XML into two text files then use something like Meld?
No, I mean more like, I like the alias function in the pattern matrix… but then if you also use recurring patterns it’s not such a good idea. I mean, say I have two sections, which differ only in that the slots from only one track is muted in one of the two sections. Then when I try to make all the (previously copied) drum tracks aliases, all pattern numbers suddenly become different.
