tool split tracks undo/redo causes renoise to crash * UPDATED *

Hi,

if I try to use this tool:https://www.renoise.com/tools/split-into-separate-tracks

I can actually crash renoise 3.01 OSX after splitting tracks by pressing undo multiple times and some redo. It doesn’t happen all the time, but quite often.

I guess the maximum what should happen that the script throws an error, but not crashing Renoise completely.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install tool

  2. Open this example song:Attachment 5955 not found.

3. EDIT: THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT, otherwise no crash: First copy-paste/move around some little note fragments/note selections in the track, to fill undo buffer!

  1. Cursor on track 1, no selection, context menu track-> “split into separate tracks…” , with default options, go

  2. Now hold down undo. If it doesn’t happen immediately to you, then again split and afterwards press multiple undo/redo quickly.
