320?

Hey there, this might be a very silly question… But is there a way to create 320 .mp3 files when rendering with renoise? Or will it always produce a .wav file and I have to use external software to convert to .mp3 ?
Cheers.

We don’t have any direct MP3 rendering in Renoise, because the MP3 licensing is expensive as hell.

So you’ll have to use 3rd party encoding tools for now.

what about ogg?

it’s a bit anoying to open up audacity just to export to various formats (ok ok not really end of world :P)

Google FlicFlac if you are on Windows, I learned about it in another thread here. On Linux I had scripts to save my favorite LAME settings.

it’s not that annoying! like a minute of extra work.
