  • “Ticks per beat” is also known as “parts per quarter note”.

  • A quarter note or ‘crotchet’ is known as a beat ( in renoise and other sequencers ).

  • Effect Column : -Qxx = Delay playback of the line by xx ticks ( maximum ticks per line is 16 ).

  • Volume or Panning Column : Qx = Delay a note by x ticks (0 - F).

  • Delay Coulumn : 00-FF = Delay a note ( or note off ) by 256ths of a line.

  • Effect Column : -Rxy = Retrigger instrument every y ticks with volume factor x applied to each retrigger ( 0 - F ).

– Retrigger volume factors –

0 - No volume change
1 - Lower volume by 3%
2 - Lower volume by 6%
