Trigger vsti's that does not have "triggers"

Topic title sounds kinda foolish but I’m wondering:

Vst’s with sequences and midi inside of them like ezbass or microtonic aren’t triggered with midi notes/inputs…

Is there any way inside of renoise FORCING to trigger a sequence?

Explained:

1

now it’s following the host… Renoise… but I want it to be triggered with a “c” or “d” in the track inside of renoise at the place and time when I want it to be triggered.

Same @ Microtonic;

only option I have is to play ( follow host ) or stop ( not follow host)

Any help would be appreciated :slight_smile:

What do you mean microtonic is NOt triggereed by midi notes , I almost never us it’s sequencer and trigger it manually .
You can use each channel as a monophonic synth , just enable the keyboard icon ( each channel is then triggered by midi chn 1-8
Or you can trigger each drumsound starting from c3
Just RTFM

Hi there, thank you for your answer.

I don’t want to trigger individual drumsounds.

My goal is to trigger a whole sequence of sounds in Renoise at the place and time i decide in a track.

You will have to read the manual for each of the plugins you want to trigger a sequence or pattern, because a) the plugin needs to support that functionality first and foremost; b) if they do, they need to be configured to do so. All that is done within the plugin, hence the need to read the manual for each plugin to know how to do that. This is not something that Renoise makes plugins do. Plugins allow that functionality or not, and if they do, Renoise is only in charge of sending a MIDI note or a program change to the plugin and that’s it (both which are ways to change pattern or sequences with).

Have you tried all notes, beginning from C0, to trigger?
