u-he plugins are coming to Linux

Jurek: I have old macbook from 2008. Everything was slow even with newly instaled Snow Leopard.
I got rid of it and installed Linux, everything is fast now, LOL.

Well, Snow Leopard only was usable from 10.6.6 on. You also should be able to customize launch daemons for improving speed. e.g. spotlight is one thing that massively slows down the boot up time, hard drive access and even processor power (since it recans contents in a massive and idiotic way). So in 10.6.8 I completely disabled spotlight and used the freeware Quicksilver alternative instead (which is 100x faster). You will loose then content search ability, but for that I used (very rarely) the freeware tool “easyfind”. In OSX 10.9.4 the mail app will loose searching abilities if disabling spotlight, so this is no more an option.

Slow Leopard? :wink:
