Ubuntu Compiz 3D Desktop Issue...

Bit of a bug here that I have not been able to figure out.

With Compiz stuff all installed, and the 3D desktop running, Renoise is a little odd.

It loads in fullscreen mode as standard, which is not a problem, but I don’t seem to be able to get out of it.

I can turn off the Fullscreen mode in Renoise, obviously, but the option to resize the Renoise window is not there. This means that I can’t use the 3D desktop…

Any ideas?

Compiz works very buggy and don’t adhere standards like most window managers do, lot of mouse and keyboard behavior does not work like it should. More Compiz quirk explanation about programs running in Full-screen mode here:

Thanks for the info. I will check it out and see what I come up with. I imagined this would not be an issue inside Renoise, but rather a problem with compatibility, standardisation at the other end.

Cheers.
