with a better logo graphics website etc and constant improvements this could be better than renoise on first glance looks like pro tools with added renoise looks good thanks
does it have vst3?

Hello there.
I think further i spend a lot of time to make more additive site and gfx ofcourse. All done by my self. And UltraDAW, and website, and “logo”. Entire all. And it’s very hard from time to time.
Due to of Renoise developers i start again using “tracker” like misic writing after many years of Amiga’s Octamed times I think Renoise very good product, and still continue using it. But now is more for
writing script to convert about 300 projects from Renoise to my UltraDAW
VST3 support in progress now. Hope it will be ready within month or two. There is VERY, VERY, VERY bad documentation. Also works on CLAP support.
i sent you some videos and crash reports.
May I ask a curious question out of self interest? What was your reasoning behind building everything from scratch and not using something like SDL, raylib et c? (avoiding JUCE, I can fully understand). The mentioned frameworks would also bring cross platform support, I guess. Was it a matter of control and learning?
I don’t think that these libraries are a good choice either, but I agree with your point using an existing GUI library. Your suggestions do seem to use OpenGL or aren’t available for Mac, OpenGL is not supported anymore under macOS. Instead, the right direction would be something based on Vulkan or supporting Metal2 directly.
Heloo there. It’s very simple answer - coz knowledge is my bread I come from Commodore 64 times, where all was don by my own hands
JUCE - another wrapper around wrapper. I dont like wrappers. Again, coz in c64/amiga times we optimize any byte to code. Ok, times is chages (however i wrote some retro stuff like C64 – Mak-sa.net software) But i prefer (if a have some time) write it by self. Coz i hate wrappers
I think about SDL to use, and maybe once will try to incorporate it within UltraDAW for porting. And may be main reason - i wanna to tracker with maximum suitable for me
also how do you download it
it’s called divine intellect, using libraries is too much voodoo for his purposes.
did you get my emails?
i got your software working.
please add more time signatures other than just multiples for 4/4.
IMHO very bad idea, not to use a well established cross platform gui lib. There are plenty of nice project starts, but with a very non standard, not in-team-managable code including magic knowledge.
his software is very very fast and small in size because of his work, why would you slow it down with a bunch of poorly coded third-party libraries?
Thanx for your likes and good words, but please - dont discuss here coz it’s renoise forum first of all. I just want to announce new tracker. And lookin for a beta-testers. No more. There no “demo version”. Contact with me by email from my web site for any questions. Thank you for understanding
run it through WINE.
I understand the “demoscene”-approach of it: not using standard-libraries, but probably you’re right.
he is blessed with divine intellect, you have too much voodoo so it is impossible for you to understand.
Calm down. A person devoting his free unpaid time to this software can do everything he wants, it’s only his view, he doesn’t owe you anything.
Great to see a new tracker in development. More trackers to choose from is always a great thing.
I can see it’s also inspired by Renoise, which we can all take as a compliment
But it’s a bit weird to beta test and get feedback for it on our forums, so @AudioDeveloper please let me know if you’ve set up a new channel, chat or forum to discuss your project. I’ll add a link here at the end of this thread so anyone interested can continue from here.
