Hi. New daw is here. Named “UltraDAW”. Classic multitrack combined with mod tracker editor. Now all this is in the process of heavy development but all the main features - work. Unfortunately I do not have time for detailed testing, so I am looking for beta testers. Check my site MAKSAnet software, photo, music
This looks really good
How long are you working on that project?
Do you plan a Linux version?
Hello.
Base libs (direct3d gfx, ui, asio, vst) about 1.5 years. The application - about 2 years.
Yes, i think there will be linux version. But some time later. Now i work’s on undo/redo and vst3 support. And it’s very hard coding ![]()
Impressive! Looking forward to test it one day on Linux ![]()
Well done! it looks very interesting. If you need mac testers, let me know.
Sorry
Now it’s only windows. ![]()
i really like seeing the vertical samples in action and as capable how you have them shown. for a second I was thinkin, you had found a way tomodify & inject your own functions/libs into renoise, and became pleasantly surprised.
Look’s Great!
I so wish this was a thing in Renoise. OK without it but would be nice…
What in the world is this?!?!?! I am in love already but you will make me use windows that I hate,I hope its worth it.
лол, funy
Wow! One man did Renoise 5 on his own. Looks very promising, could you please design it expandable with user scripting like Reaper
Thanx. May be in future i’ll add some sort of scripting. Now i heavy loaded with undo/redo and VST3/CLAP develop ![]()
It is really cool to see there are more alternatives in tracker software providing different features and workflow. Can’t wait to try it.
But the real question is: does/will it support MPE?
Hello and thank you. Now it’s not suppor MPE, but after your post i’ll add this feature in TODO list.
Dudes, forget I asked about a tracker earlier. (note to self, tracking is over a long time ago). I\ll just use some standard package.
PEACE.
Thank you for using some of my ideas in your future DAW!
i was asking Renoise to add those since 2018
The vertical waveforms will save a lot of time for me, instead of testing triggers for long samples 100 times per min lol
I guess you know that but just in case:

Yes, it’s very good thing. Now i more focused on plugins control with notes play. Support of “classical” sample commands in pattern in progress now. Now realised only multi volume envelope realtime switch between them. Ofcourse i will add base sample commands (arp, porta, volume slide etc)
i sent an email ![]()
please reply with the exe quickly, i want to make a song in this daw very badly.
