It’d be nice to trigger and perform patterns regardless of any linear timing concept. Then the arrangement could be loosely performed into the pattern seq matrix versus the current way of being performed from the pattern matrix. Similar to how a Doepfer Regelwerk or Schaltwerk can trigger and control patterns and tracks, but not how a track is programmed in them.
