I will be buying Renoise at some point today, and would like to know how I can get Renoise to work with my MIDI controller. I would like to have Transport capability, if possible. I have Automap V4.x or something like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, are there any other threads regarding the Novation SL Compact I should be aware of?
I have the Remote 25 SL and it works very nicely with Renoise. The transport controls simply work right out of the box and do not require any special configuration. I don’t even have Automap installed.

thanks for letting me know ahead of time. I’ve downloaded the demo dozens of times, and I think Renoise is awesome! I can’t wait to finally be a first time buyer! I have very little time to wait before I can buy it (due to the fact I bought a $90 US dollar gift card from Visa just to buy it and every time I buy one, I have to wait 24 hours from the time it’s activated before I can use it.) and I have a bunch of family members are waiting to see how good of a musician I can be!
By the way, how easy is it to setup the SL compact for Renoise?
I am certainly looking forward to learning Lua. I think this will be one of the most WISEST investments I’ve made in quite some time!
