I recently lost all my samples and vsts in a computer repair (damn viruses) and I have become recently fond of the cheesy midi synth in windows. I managed to enable it and flip through some patches but it seemed kind of lackluster. Is there any way I can use it to make music or is it just a waste of time?
Seems like an odd question to ask others. Only you can judge for yourself whether you want to make music with it, and whether it’s worth your time. Working with limitations such as that can breed creativity.

So yeah, limitations can breed creativity. And so can a crisis…
