Vacation

I’m going away to the seaside for a week or two, so don’t
get alarmed by my absence in this period. Some days away
from computers will probably do me good :)

And taktik is without internet at home these days, but that
doesn’t mean there isn’t any progress with development (*).
Just enjoy the summer until 1.5 is released :)

  • Here’s a small preview of the new brushed up
    advancededit panel I just finished:

And this wood theme is not the default theme. But well, thats a matter of taste :)

Looks good martin, have a nice trip.

Are the dB measurement thing hiding in the track scopes department? It would be awesome if it’s shown in each scope.

Yes, that’s only an experiment :)

In 1.5 you can choose a texture (among others this wood texture)
to be used for the various backgrounds in addition to the regular
color controls (which are also improved with HSV colors).

will you be able to add your own textures?

ooooh sooo pretty…

have a good trip!

that advanced edit stuff is really great! :drummer:

edit:

a little suggestion:
could we have decimal values (one digit is enough) for the multiplier?)

suggestion 2:
FT2 had the “transparent” option for pasting, which prevented users from overwriting existing values

suggestion 3:
please get rid of that “pianoroll” button :)

I meant “one decimal digit is enough”:
xx.y format is enough according to me, xx.yy is more than necessary.

oh well, the more is better of course :)

anyway I’ve just thought that most of values you can multiply are in the 00…FF range, so one digit should be enough, just in the case the developers, for any mysterious issue I can’t actually see now, could not add infinite decimal digits capability :)

personally i’d rather have the processing overhead, that could be dedicated to performing floating point calculations, used on dsp. but that’s just me. :P

this wood theme is my fault. but there will be plenty more themes to choose from. :D
