Developer Vast Dynamics has announced that Vaporizer2 , their hybrid wavetable synthesizer sampler plug-in, is now freely available as open source software under GPL3.
Source code is on Github as well.
Its reviewing quite well, its FOSS if I’m not mistaken yes? A good alternative to Vital if so, both in terms of Linux support and being FOSS. Not sure i personally need it as i have several other options, but i might checknitnout anyway.
The most generically named VST synth ever also just dropped, again FOSS with Linux support:
