noticed this when messing with an a cappella.
how to recreate it:
slice a sample with the slice marker tool.
trigger that slice with midi/keyboard or from the pattern.
go to the main sample in sample editor and adjust the position of the slice you triggered as it plays.
notice the current sample position is an offset of the slice position and not the actual playback position
you can tell because the audio doesn’t change but the apparent place in the sample does.
