Void Pointer - Tippelzone

Hi there,

Here is my new tune.

MySpace

Comments are welcome :)

Enjoy :guitar:

Yes, i like this stuff. Good work!
smooth soundscape and a nice drive.
reminds me of a cool track by Tom gilleon (i think that’s his name) that I bought on vinyl some years ago.

your tune would easily fit into a tech-house dj-set, maybe you should add more intro beats / stretch the beginning a little bit? I mean, this is a type of track that is used in sets where long-ass-feinschmecker-beatmixes often occur, and then there’s always good to have some more slack in the beginning…

but hey, maybe I’m babbling for myself here. everyone has their own way of mixing stuff. I would have bought it on vinyl, anyway :)

Thanks for the feedback :)

Very nice drive to this track indeed! Although I miss some punch (the kick sounds kind of ‘clicky’),
I very much like the rest of the sound. Damn, you sure have your soundscaping down, great work
there! Perhaps the track could do with some more variation, perhaps by introducing more elements
(some backing strings or additional bassline…?) or by manipulating the current elements into ‘new’
themes… I like the atmosphere and your approach to the song, but I feel there’s still so much room
to play more! I’d say explore that space and see what you discover ;)

But then again, this could be pure a matter of taste. There is an addictive radiance coming off
this ‘minimal’ approach.

i llllove the part where you play with the delay time and its feedback.
could listen to that for hours :)
kickdrum seems to have too much bottom. there is a very high peak at 46 +/- 10hz. nothing a notch filter could’nt fix in a few moments…

nothing else to complain. the tune works very well for what it represents.
great stuff!

Actually, I was thinking about making a B side, using the flanger part as the main attraction. All accompied with a bit rougher beat and stuff. :)

very nice song to listen to!

good production and nice filtering on chords!
That delay and feedback thing you’re doing is so cool!!

can’t wait for that b-side :D:smiley:

keep on rocking!

I’m afraid I have to take this mp3 file down due to label interest aswell… :(

:D :dribble: :guitar: :panic: :w00t:
