I believe this is a bug. Or maybe it is intended for practical reasons, but then it doesn’t work with what I wanted to do ![]()
- Add a volume envelope in the sample fx chain.
- Set release to 4095
- Play a note with your keyboard. The note is cutting of immediately, as it should.
- Change operator from * to + (multiplication to addition).
- Play a note with your keyboard. The note is sustained forever.
Division and multiplication applies the release setting differently from subtraction and addition. I expected the release to behave the same independent of operator used.
PS. An additional release device set to multiplication can be inserted as a workaround at the end of the chain.
