Hi guys can you work on stopping VOPM VST from crashing Renoise when importing banks? This is really forcing me to go back to Ableton

VOPM VST is 32 bit, right? Did you then try renoise in 32bit with disabled plug in bridge in the options? Otherwise no idea…

I’m using VOPM too. And the plugin is known to crash, and take down the DAW in the process unless you sandbox it (but crashing a sandboxed plugin is still no fun…)

I can’t remember the exact condition that causes the crash*, but since VOMP doesn’t seem to be maintained anymore there is little chance of it being fixed, unfortunately. You’ll simply have to avoid the condition that causes the crash.

  • Something to do with importing banks, yes, but .fxb or the internal .opm format I can’t recall. Importing presets should work though.
