VST choppy sound for some time

Renoise 3.1.1 64-bit

  1. Windows 10 64-bit on a Kaby lake system, ASIO4ALL 512 samples buffer on a Realtek on-board sound device, The Fabfilter plugins demo 64-bit

  2. Load in Twin 2 VST Instrument and play on Track 1, normal sound

3)Load in another Twin 2 instance and play on Track 2, choppy sound for about one minute, gets normal with time

Is this part of their copy protection? Would be a weird one. Auto-suspend is off.
